Joerg-Peter Rau

Jörg-Peter is a journalist and photographer based in Konstanz in South Germany. He has worked for regional publishers for more than 30 years and currently heads the local newsroom of the SÜDKURIER, the leading paper and news platform in the area between the Bodensee, Black Forest and the German-Swiss border. To this day, writing and photographing news stories and features is part of his job. He studied in Berlin and Glasgow. With degrees in Geography, Art History and English, his favourite subjects for personal projects include travel, art and landscape. His work for Macfilos was planned as a one-off because he wanted to return one story in exchange for all the great articles he had read that far on the blog. However, it has developed into a passionate hobby. Jörg-Peter has invented and continues to expand the M Files, a series about non-Leica cameras, lenses and accessories for M-Mount.
